What is InterPhace?
Interphace is a real time multiplayer puzzle game.
The objective is very simple, take control of the Interphace within a time
limit by a combination of logical thinking, quick reactions and good judgment.
There are three versions of the game.
-
Basic -
The Free version with Bluetooth Multiplayer.
-
Standard -
This version has a player league. A Player's game will be registered with our
results server and they can determine where they rate in the InterPhace
Rankings. In addition, there is an additional new ante game sytle, where
players can "bet" their rating against the purchase of new process units. Also
Encluded are new enhanced menus and sound effects.
-
Advanced - This version has all the features of the other two but they
use their rating to buy customised Playing pieces. In addition there is a new
Single Player Game, that's more than just a practice for the real thing, and
GPRS multiplay. Where you can effectivly challange anyone from around the
world, including guests on this website.
What Phones is it available for?
Testing of the game is still ongoing but it has been working on a
Nokia 6600, 6260 and 3230. In theory it should work on any Nokia series 60
Phone that has Bluetooth capabilities and a Java MIDP 2.0 Spec.
Development is being carried out on Sony-Erricson, Samsung and
Motorola phones and they should be released soon. It
shouldn’t matter which phone you are using, you’ll be able to play against any
Interphace player.
How do play this game? It looks complicated.
See the Play Guide
Who is this Slice person?
Slice is the game’s mascot, a cyberpunk hacker who sometimes
bites off more than he can chew !!
Who is Ndice then?
Slice's female counterpart, sometimes friend, sometimes
adversary. Slightly better at hacking, or rather she would be if she wasn't so
lazy!
Is it really free?
Presently, there are going to be three levels of game. The basic
version you will be able to download from this website for free. The standard
and advanced versions will be available for purchase soon.
The Game doesn’t run on my phone – Help ?
Have you checked the specs and are running on the right phone.
There are some issues with various models of Phone, Check the Bug list for
updates and solutions.
Urgh. I do not like the Interphaces colours?
Well, there are plenty of different ones to choose from. Go to
the Game Settings and select Themes.
What does the Standard and Advanced version give me that the
basic does not?
The Standard has the ability to transmit your score to our server
and see where you are in the world wide league. In addition you get a new game
type where you can gamble your score to gain an advantage over your opponent.
The Advanced version has an enhanced single player game featuring
Slice, with more multiplayer game types and the ability to upgrade your
Interphace by spending your score to buy different playing pieces.
The InterPhace is different from the last game I played?
The Interphace itself is randomly generated everytime you play.
What is RumbleX?
RumbleX is a Mobile Gaming community where scores can be uploaded and compared
with other players. This service is free.
How does RumbleX work with InterPhace?
There is an option under the Player Setting called RumbleX Email. Enter the
email address which you used to register with RumbleX. Then select the Sync
player option. Interphace will upload your latest score to the Website. Your
InterPhace Username will be replaced by the RumbleX Nick Name.
I keep on getting a No result Error when uploading my
scores. Help!?!
This is caused by your phone using internet settings which go through a WAP
Portal. Contact your service provider to get the Direct Internet Setting and
use them when prompted.
